Hawaiian Chicken

The Fleming family gave this recipe to us.

10-12 chicken pieces (easy with tenderloins)
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 18 oz. jar apricot or pineapple jam
1 16 oz. french dressing
1 can pineapple tidbits
slices of green and red pepper

Place chicken in 11x14 pan or 2 smaller ones. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour sauce (soup mix, jam, dressing) over chicken pieces. Cover with foil bake 1 hour @ 350. Remove foil place pineapple and peppers onto chicken. Bake uncovered 20 more minutes. To help liquid evaporate. Serve chicken and sauce over brown or white rice. Sauce should be kind of thick.
