1 T. yeast
1 T. sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 tsp. salt
3 cups flour
1/2 cuLet rp melted butter or margarine
Italian Seasoning
Parmesan cheese
garlic powder
Mix first four ingredients in a large bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes. Stir in flour and knead until smooth and elastic adding more flour as needed. Brush half the melted margarine onto a cookie sheet. Put dough on cookie sheet and press out to edges. Brush remaining margarine on dough. Slice into strips with pizza cutter. On top of margarine sprinkle Italian seasoning, cheese, and garlic powder to taste. Let rise about 20 minutes. Bake at 400 for about 15 minutes.
For pizza dough: Mix and knead dough as instructed above. Let rise until double in greased bowl. Grease pizza pans then place dough in pans and top with favorite sauce, cheese and toppings. Let rise until double. Bake at 400 until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned. Makes one deep dish and one regular pizza.
