Texas Sheet Cake

This cake tastes so good!

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup butter
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
nuts (opt.)

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
6 T. cream or milk
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (opt.)

Sift flour and sugar into a bowl. Bring butter, water and cocoa to boiling; pour over flour mixture and mix well. Add remaining ingredients. bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes in a large greased and floured jellyroll pan (11x15 inches).

Prepare frosting by bringing butter, cream and cocoa to a boil. Cool and add vanilla and powdered sugar. Frost cake. Cake can also be sprinkled with mini marshmallows and place in oven to melt for 2 or 3 minutes before frosting. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
