This recipe is from Bryan and Michelle Dillon. They always make the best ice cream when we go to their house to visit.
2-3 c fresh strawberries, crushed
1 2/3-2 c sugar
2 cans evaporated milk
1 pkg raspberry jello (small)
1/2 c boiling water
1 pint whipping cream
enough milk to fill freezer 2/3 full
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Then add canned milk. Stir well. Mix sugar with crushed fruit and add to jello and canned milk mixture. Add whipping cream and milk. Mix well and freeze in ice cream freezer.
