1 cup flour
1 pkg. frozen strawberries, partially thawed
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 egg whites
¾ cup sugar
½ container, 9 oz. cool whip
½ container, 9 oz. cool whip
In a bowl, stir together brown sugar, walnuts, and butter. Spread evenly in 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from pan, cool, sprinkle 2/3 of the baked mixture in the bottom of the same pan. Reserve remaining mixture. In large bowl combine white, sugar, berries and lemon juice. Beat on low till thick. Then beat about 10 to 12 minutes. Fold in topping. Spoon over mixture and top with remaining topping. Freeze over night. Serve.
