Chili Verde Burritos

This recipe is from Rosalina Alba. She is from Puerta Rico so these are delish!

1 1/2 lbs. pork roast, diced (I have used roast beef also)
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, diced
1 T. onion, chopped
1 T. flour
2 T. tomato, chopped
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. oregano (Mexican)
1/4 tsp. garlic salt or Adobo-Goya
1/3 cup water
Fresh cilantro
flour tortillas

Add Adobo salt to meat and fry diced pork until very brown. Drain off fat. Add chilies and onions. Cook briefly. Add water, tomato, cumin, and oregano and fresh cilantro. Simmer until the meat is tender. Simmer for 25 minutes. You can use a pressure cooker (5 to 10 minutes). Add flour/cornstarch as necessary to thick meat liquid. Serve in rolled up tortllas. You can garnish with fresh tomato, cheese, and cilantro. Makes 1 1/2 dozen burritos.
