Beef Stroganoff

1 pound sirloin steak
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped garlic clove
1 can cram of chicken soup
1 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
Cooked egg noodles

Brown onion and garlic in 1/2 cube butter. When meat is browned add cream of chicken soup, and mushrooms. Then add onions and garlic. Simmer 1 hour, stirring often. Add sour cream and simmer with lid on about 15 minutes. Serve over noodles.
