Cinnamon Swirl Bread

I got this recipe from Tammy Anderton and it is yummy! 


1/4 cup softened butter
1 1/3 cup sugar, divided
1 egg
2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 TBLS Cinnamon

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture: Combine the tablespoon cinnamon with 1/3 cup sugar.

Heat oven to 350.  Beat butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg.  Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt.  Add flour mixture to egg mixture with buttermilk.  Pour 1/3 in greased loaf pan, sprinkle 1/3 of the cinnamon sugar mixture.  Repeat twice.  Bake 45-50 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
